Important information regarding your
First County Bank Debit Card
Improvements are being made to your First County Bank MasterCard® Debit Card services. Below is very important information about these upgrades.
System upgrades will take place on Monday, September 14, 2020 from 2:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m..
On September 14th:
Card Controls will be temporarily available.
After September 14th:
Debit/ATM Card Activation
If you were issued a new MasterCard® Debit Card but haven't yet activated it, after September 14th you will need to call 800-992-3808 which may be a different number than what appears on the activation sticker that is on the new card.
Debit/ATM Card PIN Resets
If you need to change your existing PIN, call 800-992-3808 or connect with a member of our branch staff who can assist you.
Debit/ATM Transaction Descriptions
When reviewing account activity on your bank statements, "(FIS)", "(NYC)", or "(FIP)" will appear instead of "(ELN)", after the description of debit card transactions.
Card Controls: Re-Register, Reset and Management
Once Card Controls are restored, you will need to re-register your Debit Card in Online or Mobile Banking AND reset your preferred Debit Card control settings. Simply select your Debit Card from the card carousel and reset your controls. Please note that all account owners/signers will be able to view and control all debit cards associated with the account. For example, "joint account holder A" can set a spending limit on "joint account Holder B"'s debit card.
If you have deactivated your card prior to the system upgrade, your card may not appear in the carousel and you will have to reactivate this card.
To reactivate your card through Online Banking:
- Login to Online Banking
- Click on Banking Service Center
- Go to the Electronic Services Section > Card Services
- Click on Deactivate/Reactivate My Card
To reactivate your card through Mobile Banking:
- Login to Mobile Banking
- Click on Banking Services > Guard My Card > Reactivate

In order to ensure that we have your correct contact information on file, login to your Online or Mobile Banking account, or contact a branch to confirm your preferred contact number and email are on file. To receive text alerts or calls from our Fraud Protection Team at the time a potential fraudulent transaction is being made, please be sure to update your account with a cell phone number.
